Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp lime juice fresh
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Mango Salsa

  • 1 ripe mango diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño seeded and minced
  • 2 tbsp cilantro chopped
  • 1 tbsp lime juice fresh

To Assemble

  • 4 corn tortillas
  • sour cream or crema optional

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, toss shrimp with lime juice, chili powder, and olive oil. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  • While the shrimp marinates, mix mango, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and lime juice in another bowl to make the salsa. Set aside.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the shrimp for about 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  • Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet or over a flame.
  • Assemble tacos by placing shrimp in tortillas, topping with mango salsa, and drizzling with sour cream or crema if desired.

Notes

Feel free to add avocado slices or shredded cabbage for extra texture and flavor. You can also substitute chicken or tofu for shrimp.
