beef flank steak
thinly sliced against the grain

broccoli
cut into florets
Marinade

tablespoons
soy sauce

tablespoon
cornstarch
Sauce

tablespoons
soy sauce
1
tablespoon
oyster sauce
1
teaspoon
sesame oil
2
cloves
garlic
minced
1
teaspoon
ginger
grated

cup
water
Instructions
In a bowl, mix sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
In another bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and water. Set aside.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of oil and cook beef until browned, about 2–3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add broccoli and a splash of water. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender.
Return beef to skillet and pour in the sauce. Toss to coat and cook for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
Serve hot with rice or noodles. Enjoy!
Notes
Tip:
For extra tender beef, add a pinch of baking soda to the marinade.
