Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef flank steak thinly sliced against the grain
  • 1 head broccoli cut into florets

Marinade

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  • In another bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and water. Set aside.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of oil and cook beef until browned, about 2–3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add broccoli and a splash of water. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender.
  • Return beef to skillet and pour in the sauce. Toss to coat and cook for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
  • Serve hot with rice or noodles. Enjoy!

Notes

Tip: For extra tender beef, add a pinch of baking soda to the marinade.
